School Lunches


At South Lodge Primary School, we offer a great choice of food at lunchtime.

All children in P1 through P5 are entitled to free school lunches during term-time, regardless of your household income. You do not need to apply, as this is provided automatically.

Children in P6 and P7 qualify for free school meals if their parent or carer receives any of the following benefits:
  • Scottish Child Payment (specifically for P6 and P7 pupils)
  • Universal Credit (where your monthly earned income is not more than £995)
  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance
  • Pension Credit
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

Healthy snack is availabe from the canteen for morning break on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
