School Photographer

Please don’t forget that the school photographer is calling at the school tomorrow morning so have their hair brushed and shining, teeth cleaned and faces clean  You will have the opportunity of purchasing the photos (make lovely Christmas presents etc).

Nursery parents please remember if your child has an afternoon session or if you have booked a family photo then you will need to bring your child/children along to the school at around 8.45 for their photo and then take the little one back home with you until their normal nursery hours.photographer lady

Scottish Sun Free Books for Schools

We are delighted to tell you all that we have reached our target of 3500 for the free books. They are now bundled up and ready to post off so we can get our free books in January. A big thanks to everyone who helped us achieve our goal and an even bigger thanks to Linda Morrison who counted all of them for us 😄

If you still have vouchers at home please do send them in to us and we can pass them onto one of the smaller schools that will find it difficult to achieve the amount needed.

Futsal

Futsal kicks off this week @ Invergordon Leisure Centre

Just to make you aware of the futsal football activity for P1 – P4’s starting this Friday at Invergordon Leisure Centre.

Futsal is an exciting variation of indoor football for all ages and abilities that uses a smaller ball with a reduced bounce. As a small sided game, there is an increased focus on technique, movement and fitness.

This focus on close control has been shown to greatly increase a child’s football skills and is therefore a fantastic foundation for playing the full game of football.

If your P1-4 child fancies taking up Futsal please pop into the school office for an application form.Futsal T2 1819

Halloween Day

HALLOWEEN DAY – Friday 2nd November 2018

We are having a Halloween dressing up day this Friday 2nd November. The children (and staff) may come to school in their fancy dress or may go home to get changed at lunch time (please send in a note if not already down for home lunches). This year we are asking for a £1 donation from the children if they are coming in fancy dress which will go to our Blythswood Shoebox Appeal.

Please ensure your child has their £1 ready to hand in on Friday.
